Here is your opportunity to own and enjoy a highly desirable Catalin radio at a fraction of the normal price.
This Catalin radio has been professionally restored to a very high standard. We worked around the bottom front 1" hairline that continues on the bottom for 2.5" more. Despite this defect, the radio looks great. To bring flare to the radio, we added an original set of FADA butterscotch gumdrop knobs and a FADA 'Bullet' butterscotch handle. Although not original to this radio, we think they are tasteful style changes.
Aside from hairlines described above, the cabinet and trim are in wonderful condition. There are no cracks, chips, nicks, tube burns, repairs or reproduction parts.
The original chassis is sold as "Not Working". If you intend to listen to this radios, we strongly urge that you first seek the advise of a vintage electronics specialists. There are plenty of people throughout the US that do this kind of work.
