This FADA 1000 "Bullet" Open Face Catalin radio- Maroon and Butterscotch was sent to our shop for a complete cosmetic restoration. It arrived safety and was a prime candidate for a complete cosmetic restoration.  We restored this radio in our tradition style except for the silk grille cloth that adds 

The restoration brings out the best this Catalin radio's display quality.

The restoration is a multi-stage process from Wet/Sanding to the application of finish waxes.  This high-gloss finish is embedded in Catalin material itself.  There was not clear glossy top-coat used.  It was done the "Old School" way.
