Novelty Radio
This 24" Coca Cola Bottle Bakelite Radio is the first version that Crosley made for Coca Cola as salesmen promotions and POS retail display. This version is very rare and in no defect condition, even more rare. The later version is a reddish color and were sold to the general public. The later version is not as desirable or rare.
Because of its size and weight of this 24" tall, most of these radios did not survived the years without damage. This radio is the exception in this regard and is free of damage including cracks, nicks, warping, repairs or reproduction parts.
The original chassis is present and is sold as "Not Working".
In a 1997 antique radio price guide this 24" Coca Cola Bakelite Bottle was listed at $7,500. The value since has dropped off is over 50% less than that.
