Bendix 526C Catalin Radio Jade Green Restoration

Results of Catalin Radio Restorations 

This Bendix 526C Catalin radio came to our shop with the customer telling us it was a green swirl color. It had a thick, hardened patina that hid a secret underneath. After a long process of "Cutting" the patina from all surfaces, we were delighted to find a Jade Green cabinet that could not fit one more swirl on it!

The restoration results are spectacular.

The restoration is a multi-stage process from Wet/Sanding to the application of finish waxes.  This high-gloss finish is embedded in Catalin material itself.  There was not clear glossy top-coat used.  It was done the "Old School" way.
