General Electric "Bandy the Bandmaster" Accessories

Catalin Store is now creating reproduction parts for the General Electric "Bandy the Bandmaster " Doll. The Bandy doll was a promotional POS device to encourage sale for General Electric radio stores that were experiencing poor sales because of the depression. They were manufactures for "GE" by the Cameo Doll Company. They were produced in several short runs and not sold to the general public. 

The Bandy dolls had a hard and long life.  These dolls were manufactured from 1920-1932, so that makes them, on average, 96 years old. Over the years, many of the Bandy dolls have suffered from missing parts, deteriorated decals, finish crazing and other similar condition issues.

Here we have a White Leather Belt, Clasp Buckle & Tassel to give the  GE Bandy Doll a bit of a flair. Some elements are not original for the doll. The miniature leather tassel with a gold plated cap measures 1.5" (33mm) in length. The second and third pictures gives you the proportion of the tassel to the red jacket.
