Emerson EP-375 "5+1" Catalin Radio Restoration

Results of Catalin Radio Restorations 

This Red Swirl Emerson EP-375 Catalin Radio was sent to us for repairs and cosmetic restoration.  The cabinet was darkened by years of exposure to Oxygen and UV rays. The cabinet has a crack.

These are the pictures of the restored radio. The restoration is a multi-stage process from Wet/Sanding to the application of finish waxes.  This high-gloss finish is embedded in Catalin material itself.  There was not clear glossy top-coat used.  It was done the "Old School" way.
