Emerson 400 "Patriot" Catalin Radio, White/All Red Restoration #3

Results of Radio Restorations 

This gorgeous Emerson 400 "Patriot" Catalin Radio was delivered to us with a deep butterscotch patina.  The customer wanted this radio reflect the patriotic look that it was born with.  The instructions were clear, red, white and blue. We achieved this result by "Cutting and Polishing" the finish back to its original Alabaster Catalin color.  

These are the pictures of the restored radio. The restoration is a Multi-Stage process from Wet/Sanding to the application of finish waxes.  This high-gloss finish is embedded in Catalin material itself.  There was not clear glossy top-coat used.  It was done the "Old School" way.
