This is a very high-quality 1939 Motorola 51X15 “S Grille” Catalin radio (Black and red).  This blue-chip Catalin radio is 100% original and complete in all respects.  This model comes up for sale periodically, but they all fall short of this fine example.

This radio measures 9.75" W X 6" H by 5.75" D.  The cabinet design is classic Art Deco, with beautiful design elements.  The cabinet and faceplate are free of cracks, hairlines, and chips.  The pictures show a freshly “cut/polished” radio that has a high-gloss finish. 

This gorgeous radio has all of its original parts, including a well-preserved grille cloth and the back panel.  

The chassis is original to the radio and is sold as not working.  The power cord is still attached but must be replaced.  If you intend to listen to this radio, first, consult with an electronics expert.
